A Quiet World for Cats

A Better Veterinary Experience for Cats
Established in 1979 by Dr. Don Polley, Harvester Animal Clinic has proudly served our community and its pets for more than 45 years.

In 2022, we relocated Harvester Animal Clinic to our current facility with one primary goal: to provide an even better experience for our patients and the people who care for them. We had the rare opportunity to design a veterinary hospital from the ground up, allowing us to think carefully about how the environment itself could reduce stress and improve patient care.
Cats were an especially important part of that planning.

Cats experience veterinary visits differently than dogs, and many become anxious simply from the sights, sounds, and smells of an unfamiliar environment. For that reason, we created a dedicated feline wing designed specifically around the needs of cats.

Our cat wing includes separate feline exam rooms, a dedicated treatment area, and separate cat housing. The exam rooms feature large windows and perches where cats can explore, relax, and observe their surroundings. In fact, we often examine our feline patients right on the window perch rather than placing them on a traditional exam table.

The result is an environment that feels less like a conventional veterinary hospital and is designed to help cats feel safer and more comfortable.
Our facility may have changed over the years, but the philosophy that has guided Harvester Animal Clinic since 1979 has not: provide thoughtful, compassionate veterinary care and always put the patient first.
